 Tier One Assembly Plant Seeing Green with New Technology (14399) Elk Grove Village, IL Meiji Corporation, supplier of the Miracle Boy ultra-fine oil filtration systems, announced that Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI) in Jackson, Michigan recently purchased several Miracle Boy high performance oil filtration systems. With recent price hikes causing the price of crude oil to exceed $100 per barrel of oil, MACI took a proactive step to reduce their oil expenditures and carbon footprint. Testing started in 2004 and has proven the Miracle Boy filtration system to reduce oil usage in main vacuum pumps for inspection machines and die cast machines by over 92%, resulting in a reduction of global green house gases from 26.4 ton to nearly zero! Mr. Lee Kline, Production Engineer, said that 85% was written off in one year due to savings of materials and labor and that it was a good decision to purchase this system.
